Bay G9 is centred on a highly expressive stone-effect surface that runs across the walls and floor. Layers of cream, warm beige, charcoal and soft rust create an almost mural-like pattern, making the finish the dominant feature of the room. Because the surface carries so much natural-looking movement, the remaining furniture and fittings are deliberately straightforward.
The shower is defined by a single clear glass panel, keeping as much of the patterned wall visible as possible. Chrome shower fittings sit lightly against the stronger backdrop and avoid adding another competing colour. The open arrangement also allows the wall and floor pattern to read as one continuous design rather than being divided into separate zones.
A dark floor-standing vanity provides a solid contrast on the opposite side of the room. Its simple framed doors and drawers give the furniture definition, while the white basin keeps the top of the unit clean and bright. Above it, a large round illuminated mirror creates a strong circular focal point and reflects light back onto the darker areas of the patterned surface.
The WC is kept simple and positioned between the shower and vanity, allowing the feature finish to remain visible around each element. This bay is a good example of knowing when to hold other details back. G9 demonstrates how a statement wall and floor treatment can carry an entire bathroom design when the furniture, glass and brassware around it are kept restrained and well proportioned.
