This compact WC display takes a much darker approach, using deep charcoal stone-effect finishes across the walls to create a strong, enclosed look. Rather than trying to make the room feel entirely light, the design leans into the smaller proportions and uses contrast to give the space its character.
Large-format dark wall tiles create the main backdrop, while the wall behind the WC changes to a smaller textured finish. This variation keeps the monochrome palette from becoming flat and gives the back wall more depth. Against these darker surfaces, the white basin stands out clearly and keeps the centre of the scheme visually crisp.
The vanity is deliberately compact, combining a dark wall-mounted unit with a white basin. Keeping the cabinetry within the same tonal family as the surrounding walls allows it to sit quietly within the scheme, while the white basin creates a clean break between the darker finishes. Chrome brassware adds a brighter metallic detail without changing the overall character.
Above, a rectangular illuminated mirrored cabinet becomes the main light feature. The bright border creates a defined frame against the charcoal wall and helps bring light into the upper part of the display. The textured tile continues behind the mirror and WC, adding detail that becomes more noticeable as the light catches the surface.
Overall, this display shows how a small bathroom can make confident use of darker finishes when texture, lighting and sharp white contrasts are carefully balanced.
